This page explains, in technical detail, what happens when you visit orismedya.xyz: which data stays in your browser, which reaches our server, and which third parties are involved. It is written to be read, not to satisfy a lawyer.
The short version
There are no accounts, no logins and no user profiles on this site. We do not ask for your name, your email address or any other identifier. Beyond a handful of preferences held in your own browser, no personal data reaches us directly. Google advertising is served on these pages and the typefaces load from Google's servers, so those two services do process data about your visit. Everything is itemised below.
Preferences held in your browser
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your choices. These entries never leave your device and are never transmitted to our server:
om-lang— the language you chose, so your next visit opens in it directly.om-theme— your light or dark theme preference.om-lang-dismissed— records that you closed the language suggestion bar, so it is not shown again.
Clearing site data in your browser settings removes these entries and returns the site to its defaults.
The language cookie
When you arrive at the root address, the server reads a cookie named om-lang in order to send you to the right language. The cookie carries a two-letter language code and nothing else — no identifier, no tracking value, no profile.
Server logs
Like every web server, our hosting server records incoming requests: IP address, date and time, the address requested and the browser string. These logs exist for security and fault diagnosis. They are not used for ad targeting or visitor profiling, and they are not shared with third parties.
Google AdSense
Advertising is served on these pages through Google AdSense. To deliver and measure those ads, Google may set cookies in your browser and process device and browsing information. Where personalised advertising is active, sites you have visited previously may inform which ads you see.

Google Fonts
The site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which means your IP address reaches Google as the page renders. When the fonts are moved to our own server this connection disappears, and this page will be updated to say so.
Measurement
No visitor analytics tool is currently running on this site. If one is added, this page will name the tool, the data it collects and how to opt out.

Our articles link to other sites in order to cite sources. Once you follow such a link, that site's own privacy practices apply; this policy covers the orismedya.xyz domain only.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR applies to you; in Türkiye, Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data does. You may request access to data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to its processing. Requests sent to the address below are answered within thirty days.
Because we collect no personal data directly, most requests concern advertising data processed by Google, in which case we will point you to the correct channel.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at users under thirteen and does not knowingly collect data from that age group.

This page is updated whenever the site's technical arrangements change. The date below records the most recent revision; any material change is announced on the home page.
